My name is Karolina. I am a physical fitness and life coach.
My journey began at 22 when I was diagnosed with Major Clinical Depression. But the real turning point came when I faced the psychological damage of childhood trauma and toxic relationships—pain that had haunted me for years. I was fortunate to find the resources I needed to heal, but it wasn’t easy. I had to break my past into pieces, dissecting the sources of my pain, so I could start rebuilding. To heal, I first had to understand the root cause of my struggles. Then, I had to find the tools to escape the relentless cycle of trauma.
I know the gut-wrenching darkness of loneliness, vulnerability, and shame. But through those darkest times, I discovered an inner strength I never knew I had. I became resilient, even when it felt like giving up was the only option.
With the right support, I rebuilt my life from the ground up. I created a space where I could stand in my own worth, no longer afraid to stand alone when it meant holding onto my values. I learned the hard way that before you can love anyone else, you must first learn to love yourself. Now, my emotional, mental, and physical health is my number one priority, and I’m here to share that passion with others who are struggling like I once did.

In my search for healing, I discovered the power of physical movement—trail running, to be specific. Running through the woods, across rivers, and over mountains taught me to respect my body, listen to it, and become aware of how I respond to stress and challenges. With every run, I see my problems shrink, and what truly matters becomes clearer: my mental and physical health.
Running trails became my active meditation—my practice of mindfulness. It’s helped me conquer anxiety, fear, and loneliness, teaching me to live in emotional peace.

Karolina earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from SIUE (Go Cougars) and a master’s degree in health science and exercise performance from Lindenwood University, graduating in May 2023.
With years of running experience, Karolina discovered running as a key part of her healing journey. She started with 5k races in 2014 and has since progressed to training and completing ultra-marathons, including challenging 100-200 mile races in rugged mountain terrain. Her journey has taught her how to push through both emotional and physical obstacles, and she’s here to guide you in exploring your own limits and achieving whatever you set your mind to.
